Sub Bill#126 67th Senate

The phrase 'from time to time' is vague and can create an unclear operational framework for the ASNMSU. Under this new timeline, the ASNMSU President will present the State of the ASNMSU and any recommended measures to the Senate by the fourth (4th) Senate meeting.

This bill will move the responsibility of hiring the ASNMSU Associate Justices from the ASNMSU President to the ASNMSU Chief Justice, as this will reflect what is currently practiced.

Bill# 7 69th Senate

Clarifies the President of the ANSMSU powers to nominate, hire or appoint executive officers and assistants with the consent of the ASNMSU Senate. Added the “take care” clause to affirm that the ASNMSU President is constitutionally responsible for ensuring that laws passed by the legislative branch are properly implemented and enforced.
