The Big Event

 

The Big Event is an annual off-campus community service project that allows students to say thank you to the community of Las Cruces for all they do for New Mexico State. Students, alumni, faculty and staff commit their time to beautify the city Las Cruces. The Big Event takes place in the spring. Registration Packets for the Big Event can be downloaded or picked up from the ASNMSU office. For more information on the Big Event please contact the ASNMSU Director of Community Outreach at asnmsuco@nmsu.edu.


Important Information

Anyone who is a student or employee of NMSU can participate. You can sign up with a group of friends, an organization, or as an individual to be paired with other individuals.

All organizations that wish to participate in the event need to have their own transportation available the morning of the event (Carpooling with members of your organization is recommended). Maps to the job site will  be provided at Check In. If your organization cannot travel off campus, please email the Director of Community Outreach at asnmsuco@nmsu.edu and alternative accommodations will be researched.

Community/Business Application

Job Request Forms are now available for The Big Event 2017! Residents of the Las Cruces community may request a job by filling out the online form found below.
