The Executive Branch

The Executive Branch is led by the President of ASNMSU, who is elected by a majority of the student body every year in April. The Executive Branch consists of 12 Executive Directors, selected by the President and confirmed by the Senate, that oversee various student-run programs that are dedicated to providing students with first-class programming and services.

The Executive Branch offers numerous ways to get invovled, including our various safety programs, special events, intramurals, Homecoming, volunteer work and much more. Stop by our office on the second floor of Corbett Center and find out how you can get involved!

Media Relations

KRUX is brought to you in part by businesses and individuals supporting student-run, non-commercial radio. Sponsors in return receive on-air recognition for their tax-deductible donations. KRUX is considered a learning lab for students interested in getting involved with the radio medium and it offers many opportunities to do so.

The Round Up student newspaper is a place for students interested in sports, art, news, design, advertising and many other things related to journalism and newspapers. It, too, is a learning lab designed to help students gain experience working in a real news team and help contribute to a newspaper that is responsible for earning its own revenue and being a successful force on the New Mexico State University campus.

Together, the Round Up and KRUX act as the media serving the students of NMSU. They offer all students the opportunity and the freedom to get involved in both and help keep the campus community informed.
