Welcome to New Mexico State University and to the Aggie Transit. The Associated Students of New Mexico State University (ASNMSU), in conjunction with New Mexico State University, are proud to announce the new Aggie Transit system, revised to better service the NMSU community. Aggie Transit now offers three routes designed to place students within a short 10-minute walk, of anywhere on campus.
The transit system is intended to assist students in getting to and from class and to lessen parking difficulties on campus. It is also a step in New Mexico State University’s mandate to be an environmentally friendly place to work and learn. In conformance with President Michael Martin’s commitment to the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment, the Aggie Transit addresses global warming by offering students, faculty, and staff the chance to reduce vehicular travel and lessen greenhouse gas emissions.
